Driftsands is an area that is on the edge of Khayelitsha. This is the first and only high school in the area and it shares the property of a primary school. It exists because of the need for high school education for the children of this area. This school is literally starting up with nothing. Although it has no property of its own, the teachers go against all odds give the leaner’s a chance to a brighter future. Upon hearing of the challenges of this school, tmtj decided to donate a computer and printer and foster a long term relationship where we will be patrons of this school for as long as we can. We wish to provide all possible assistance within our reach to give hope and opportunity to these learners who most come from a very impoverished background.
